5.78" Polished Megalodon Shark Tooth with Turquoise Inlay

The name Megalodon means "big tooth", and it certainly is! This prehistoric shark roamed the oceans about 2.5 - 23 million years ago reaching lengths of up to 60 feet. Some scientists believe there may have been larger specimens reaching up to 80 feet long! They say each inch of tooth is equivalent to 10 feet of shark.  

This Meg is about 5.78 inches and has been polished with turquoise inlay added to create a beautiful tooth. This Meg is HUGE!!

We have inlay added to Megs that we recover in rough condition; they have been tumbling around on the ocean floor for millions of years.  I really love the look, and each one creates a unique piece.
